Aurora University to host open house Oct. 8

AURORA, Ill, September 19, 2007—Aurora University will host an annual fall visit day for college-bound high school seniors, parents, and guests from 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 8.

The program opens with registration and a continental breakfast at 9 a.m. in the lobby of Crimi Auditorium at the Institute for Collaboration, 407 S. Calumet Ave. in Aurora.

At 9:30 a.m., university officials will discuss admission procedures, scholarships, and financial aid.

>From 10:15 to 11:15 a.m., guests are invited to meet with faculty members and take campus tours led by current AU students.

Visitors are invited to join faculty and AU students for lunch in the University Banquet Hall from 11:30 a.m. to noon.

The visit day concludes with presentations on academic life and student activities from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m.
