AU School of Social Work to Host Event

AURORA, Ill, June 20, 2007- Aurora University’s School of Social Work will hold an information session from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 28 in room 210 of the Institute for Collaboration at 407 S. Calumet Ave. in Aurora.

Social work faculty and staff will provide information on the Master of Social Work (MSW) program. Prospective students are invited to learn about MSW concentrations, fieldwork opportunities, admission requirements and financial aid information.

Accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, AU’s School of Social Work offers study plans that include full-time, part-time, day and evening course offerings. 

MSW concentrations include clinical (Type 73 School Social Work available) and Leadership and Community Practice. Students who hold a BSW degree from an accredited institution in the past five years are eligible for an advanced-standing program.
