A reviewer said, “Offering a sensitive reassessment of a man often labeled misogynist, conservative, and even anti-Semitic, renowned scholar Morna D. Hooker reconstructs the beliefs, ethics and teachings of Paul. This penetrating and authoritative account focuses on Paul's Jewish heritage and argues for a consistent and coherent theology at the heart of his writings.”
