Managing customer relations: University sales seminar Nov. 3

AURORA, Ill. October 12, 2006 - Aurora University’s Dunham School of Business and the Naperville Chamber of Commerce will host “Customer Relationship Management,” a breakfast workshop by three area sales executives, from 7:30 to 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 3, at the Hilton Hotel, 3003 Corporate West Drive in Lisle.

The public is invited to the second of four 2006-07 AU Sales Institute workshops. The cost is $25 and includes the presentation and breakfast. Seating is limited to 40 persons.

Panelists scheduled are A.J. Novak, director of customer service and support, Waste Management, Inc., Lombard; Dean DeLisle, president of Forward Progress, Naperville; and Alan Cocconi, director, Lighthouse Technical Resources Inc., Wheaton. Shawn Green, AU professor of marketing and Vernon Haase Professor of Business and Economics, will moderate the program.

Topics to be addressed include the cost of acquiring customers, moving from customer acquisition to customer loyalty, cross-selling and up-selling, customer profitability, sales force automation, contact management, lead management, integrating CRM data, and utilizing CRM methods to enhance customer service followup.
