Area residents named outstanding Aurora University student teachers

AURORA, Ill. August 18, 2006 - Area residents were among Aurora University students honored at a 13th annual Outstanding Student Teacher recognition reception at the University Banquet Hall on the campus.

AU student teachers, AU faculty supervisors, and cooperating classroom teachers were guests at the event.

Keynote speaker was Lilia Bejec, co-president of Kappa Delta Pi, international honor society in the field of education. Maribeth Juraska, director of field experiences for AU’s College of Education, presided at the program.
