Local collegians selected for Aurora University honor society

AURORA, Ill. August 18, 2006 - Area residents are among Aurora University students and faculty selected for membership in Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK), a national leadership honor society for college students, faculty, administrators, and alumni.

ODK recognizes leadership, character, and scholarship. Student members are selected based on their accomplishments through academics, athletics, community services, social/religious activities, campus government, mass media contributions, and creative/performing arts.

Faculty inducted in ceremonies at Perry Theatre were Joe Dunham, senior fellow in the Wackerlin Center for Faith and Action, and Steve Lowery, professor of art.
