Aurora University professors to give seminars on leadership, marketing

AURORA, Ill. August 17, 2006 - Aurora University business professors will give four seminars on leadership and marketing from September through February sponsored by the Fox Valley Park District.

Seminars will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Prisco Community Center at 150 W. Illinois Ave. in Aurora. The public is invited. Admission is $5 per session.

Instructors from AU’s Dunham School of Business are Shawn Green, professor of marketing and Vernon Haase Professor of Business; and Thomas Berliner, assistant professor of business.

On Sept. 26 and Feb. 27, Berliner will present “Developing Leadership Tools.” Green will present “Ways to Develop New Customers” on Oct. 12 and discuss “Developing a Strong Brand for your Product, your Business, and Yourself” on Jan. 17.
