Offering tips on HR coaching styles; 2006-07 HR workshop series announcedAURORA, Ill. July 27, 2006 - Psychologist and executive coach Doug McKinley will discuss “Coaching Styles” during Aurora University’s Human Resources Institute on Wednesday, Aug. 30. The free public workshop is from 8 to 9 a.m. at the University Banquet Hall at Alumni Hall, 1410 Marseillaise Pl. in Aurora. Networking and refreshments are from 7:30 to 8 a.m.. With offices in Naperville, McKinley has 20 years of experience in the human development field. During the first 10 years of his career, he provided psychological interventions for individuals and families facing difficult transitions and challenges. At the same time, he built a profitable business that now staffs eight full and part-time therapists. In 2000, McKinley began working with clients as a personal leadership coach. Currently he coaches individuals and teams in small and medium size companies. In 2001, McKinley joined the faculty of the Institute for Life Coach Training (ILCT). He was appointed the director of corporate coaching services at ILCT in 2005. Public speaking is one of his greatest passions. He conducts seminars, facilitates training, and holds retreats for business and personal development. His speaking style invites participants to listen for application rather than evaluation.
