Aurora University sets July events calendar

AURORA, Ill. June 21, 2006 - Music by the Lake and information open houses focusing on business programs and a new golf course management program highlight July events at Aurora University.

Events are free to the public unless a fee is indicated. The lineup is:

  • July. Summer School. AU summer classes continue through Aug. 12. Information: 630-844-5533.
  • July 1: Music by the Lake 2006: Peter Nero and members of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra perform at 7:30 p.m. at Allyn Pavilion for the Performing Arts at George Williams College, 350 Constance Blvd. in Williams Bay, Wis. Cost: $10-$25. Information: 866-843-5200 or 262-245-8501.
  • July 8: Music by the Lake 2006: The Ramsey Lewis Trio performs at 7:30 p.m. at Allyn Pavilion for the Performing Arts at George Williams College, 350 Constance Blvd. in Williams Bay, Wis. Cost: $10-$25. Information: 866-843-5200 or 262-245-8501.
  • July 17-28: Youth Classes. AU hosts The Young Scholars Program offering enrichment courses for gifted and talented preschool through eighth-grade students at 347 S. Gladstone Ave. in Aurora. Times and cost vary by class. Information: 630-844-3833, abutcher@aurora.edu.
