Voice Students to Perform Songs From Past Three Centuries

AURORA, Ill. — Local residents are among Aurora University voice students scheduled to perform in a recital at noon on Wednesday, Oct. 21.

The recital will be held in Crimi Auditorium in the Institute for Collaboration at 407 S. Calumet Ave. in Aurora. The public is invited. Admission is free.

Beginning to advanced students will perform songs from the 1800s to the present. The performers are students of instructors Todd Diehl and Abby Musgrove. Piano accompanists will be Diehl and Sung Ha Chi, music faculty members.

Students scheduled to perform are:

  • Macchesney Park: Alexandra Derry, Abby Juhlin
  • Montgomery: Travis Winkler
  • North Aurora: Tegan Rogers

  • Wadsworth:  Amanda Fishback
  • Woodridge: Cassandra Coulam
  • Riverside, California: Chelsea Grote
