George Williams College hosts Martin Ellen, CFO of Snap-On Inc.

WILLIAMS BAY, Wis.—Join students and staff of George Williams College of Aurora University for their next Bistro Speaker Series with Martin Ellen, senior vice president- Finance and chief financial officer of Snap-on Incorporated, a $2.5 billion, S&P 500 company headquartered in Kenosha, Wis.
The program will be held Thursday, Sept. 25 in The Bistro at the Beasley Campus Center, on the campus located at 350 Constance Blvd. in Williams Bay. There will be a reception starting at 5 p.m. followed by Ellen’s presentation from 6 to 7 p.m.
Members of the local community, along with GWC students, faculty and staff, are invited to participate in what promises to be an informal and engaging evening exploring the corporate world of finance and operations.
"Marty has been a chief financial officer for more than 25 years with some of the most interesting companies in the Chicagoland area. He is a great developer of financial leaders and has broad experience in the healthcare, manufacturing and financial service industries.” said David Frost, assistant professor of business at George Williams College. “I am confident Marty will be able to offer a fascinating glimpse and insight into the field of finance and the world of manufacturing and operations.”
Ellen’s previously held positions include vice president and chief financial pfficer for Cabot Microelectronics Corporation, and senior vice president and chief financial officer for Whitman Corporation, a $2.5 billion NYSE-listed consumer goods company primarily engaged in the marketing, bottling, sales and distribution of Pepsi products and other beverages as a master franchisee.
Snap-On Incorporated is a leading global developer, manufacturer and marketer of tool, diagnostic and equipment solutions for professional tool users and employs approximately 13,500 people worldwide.
The next speaker in The Bistro Speaker Series is Skip Bliss, owner of Bliss Communications and publisher of The Janesville Gazette, on Thursday, Nov. 5.
