Christine Flasch brings a broad range of experience to her position with Music by the Lake. Before joining Aurora University, Flasch spent 12 years singing leading soprano roles with opera companies nationwide, culminating in eight seasons with the Metropolitan Opera in New York. Her background includes participation in outstanding choirs throughout her formal education, including membership in the first Wisconsin State Honors Choir. In addition to her role as Executive Director at Music by the Lake she is the director of the AU University Chorale and the Music by the Lake Singers. Previously, she has held faculty appointments at a number of institutions and directed Carroll College’s highly successful summer opera program.
