For many, mathematics is also among the most difficult subjects to succeed in. If you need help with your math classes, or with any of your classes that use math, such as chemistry, physics, business or economics, stop by or call the Center for Teaching & Learning at 630-844-5520 to set up an appointment with our math tutors.
If you're getting ready to take the Illinois Basics Skills Test, consider attending the review sessions offered before each test date, or you can make an appointment to meet with the director of the Center for Teaching & Learning for tutoring.
If you haven't had a math class in a long time and you'd like to brush up a bit before you start your class, you may want to work with a tutor to determine your current skill level, or, the Center for Teaching & Learning has some self-study materials you could use to work on your own. - Linda Hess: Statistics, Probability, Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, Finite, Operations Research
- John Clements: All levels of math, as well as Physics, Inorganic (and some organic) Chemistry, Earth Science and Astronomy
- Nancy Jung: All math up to and including Algebra, Biological Sciences, Anatomy and Physiology.

Math Crisis Intervention
The Center for Teaching & Learning also offers Math Crisis intervention. If you cannot make a regular appointment or just have a few questions that you want to ask an expert about, drop by and see Linda during her Math Crisis Intervention hours - no appointment necessary.
