Welcome to the Center for Teaching & Learning. If you're having any sort of academic difficulties, we can help you out. We offer one-on-one professional math & writing tutoring to all registered Aurora University students: commuter or resident, part-time or full-time, undergraduate or graduate. If you're having trouble with specific course material (e.g. computer science, Spanish, or accounting), we can provide you with a peer tutor at no cost. We may also be able to help you figure out whether you're managing your time wisely or studying effectively for the courses you're taking. If you know there's some problem, but don't know what it is, we're confident we can help you figure it out.

We can help you:

  • Improve your skills in reading, writing, math and science
  • Improve skills in APA and MLA citation
  • Prepare to take the Illinois Basic Skills test
  • Improve study and note-taking skills
  • Succeed in AU writing intensive courses
  • Improve skills in using computer resources including campus mail, Moodle, Web Advisor

Current Hours of Operation:

  • Monday - 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday - 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday - 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Thursday - 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Friday - 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday - Closed
