Almost all of us have been touched by organizations that are part of the United Way at some point in our lives. The Fox Valley United Way is the only agency whose sole focus is to address a broad range of health and human services in the Fox Valley area. They assess the needs in our service areas regularly and fund programs that have proven results. They have provided funding, for example, to Mutual Ground to assist in housing families who are victims of domestic violence.
There are many advantages to having a single community-wide fundraising effort. When you give to United Way, you give literally to many different agencies which help thousands of people in the Fox Valley area. More than 200,000 times last year, people here benefited from Fox Valley United Way partner agencies' programs.
