Adjunct Faculty - Exercise Science

Aurora University is an independent, comprehensive institution founded in 1893 offering bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. Our two campuses are located in Aurora, Illinois and on the shores of Geneva Lake in Wisconsin. Additionally, we have an Educational Center in Woodstock, Illinois. We seek people passionately involved in the educational process who will help us realize our vision.

Aurora University is searching for qualified instructors as part of its adjunct faculty pool to teach in the following undergraduate areas in the School of Education and Human Performance:

  • Exercise Testing and Prescription
  • Advanced Program Design for Special Populations
  • Exercise Physiology
  • Strategies of Health Promotion
  • Pre-Professional Practicum and Instructor/Supervisor

While a terminal degree is preferred, a master’s degree in a related field is required. Fitness and clinical exercise physiology industry experience, ACSM or NSCA certified, and college-level teaching experience preferred. Physical Therapy industry experience preferred for pre-professional practicum instructor/supervisor.
