We shall explore these questions: how has the Arab Spring and its aftermath unfolded in countries of the Middle East; what has been the contribution of Islam and other religions to the events surrounding the Arab Spring?; is the linkage between religion and politics a positive or negative thing in the region?; what contributions are nationalism, secularism and liberalism making to the region?; why are the actions of the USA often seen by inhabitants of the Middle East in an overwhelmingly negative light? No prerequisites. |
