Students will be required to purchase Polar heart rate monitors and pedometers to document their own physical effects of altitude hypoxia. Course Dates/Times: Class will meet on the Aurora campus May 11-15 and May 26-29 in Dunham Hall, Room 012 from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Travel to Colorado Springs, Colorado from May 17 through May 23. Trip costs: $975 includes airfare, double-occupancy accommodations, ground transportation, all excursions and admission fees. A $325 non-refundable trip deposit is due at the time of registration. Trip registration and deposit must be submitted by December 1, 2008 for travel confirmation. The $650 balance covering trip expenses is due February 1, 2009 and is not refundable after this date.
