Major in Organizational Management

Bachelor of Arts - Bachelor of Science
Minimum of five (5) years full time work experience is required for entrance to this major.

The Organization Management major is a fast paced, year round program. Students engage in learning the concepts of accounting, business law, economics, and statistics and the principles of finance, general and strategic management, human resource management, information systems, international business, marketing, operations, organizational behavior, and workplace diversity.

Organization Management majors are challenged to combine their prior experience (informal learning) with theory, concepts, and history (formal learning) to maximize their effectiveness. They apply their learning to both hypothetical and actual challenges. They are also encouraged to apply their prior experience and concurrent or prior learning in communication, natural science and math, social and behavioral science, and humanities in relevant organizational contexts.

Students planning to attend graduate school should consider a BS. For the BS, the following 3 courses are required in addition to the courses required for the BA for majors in Organization Management.
