ECN201 Principles of Microeconomics (3 semester hours)
Introduction to the economic decision process of firms and individuals; characteristics of choice faced by both firms and individuals as they attempt to maximize their relative well-being; current issues such as government control and monopoly.
Prerequisite: MTH110.

ECN202 Principles of Macroeconomics (3 semester hours)
The American economy and how it works: national income, business cycles, unemployment, and inflation. Government efforts to stimulate economic activity are examined in light of the Keynesian and New Classical schools of thought. Relationship of the U.S. economy to international trade; free trade vs. protectionism.
Prerequisite: MTH110.

ECN/SBS232 General Statistics (3 semester hours)

ECN330 Business Statistics and Forecasting (3 semester hours)
Methods of statistical analysis and forecasting most commonly used in business and economic research based on single and multiple regression analysis, and time-series forecasting.
Prerequisite: ECN232.
