Outside Experiences and Hobbies
Rick has spent ten years in the environmental field as a Geologist and Project manager working on the remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater. Rick has also taught Earth Science and Astronomy for twelve years.

Rick’s family includes daughter Kim, son Travis, and granddaughter Dakota.

Most of Rick’s free time is spent volunteering with the Coast Guard but he also plays trumpet in a jazz band and enjoys reading and photography and a round of golf on a sunny day with a friend (the enjoyment comes from the friend, not the golf!).
