What I Believe: Mark Zelman

Mark Zelman, Associate Professor of Biology
A native of Chicago, Mark lives in Malta, a tiny island in a sea of north-central Illinois cornfields, with his wife Carrie and their four children. The oldest two are adults-in-training at college, studying wildlife biology and engineering. The youngest two provide daily delight and chaos. Mark enjoys bird-watching and camping with his family, and wears out quite a few shoes running roads and trails. A good day is filled with teaching and learning, challenging work, and, with any luck, a bit of cooking, writing, poetry, and conversation with colleagues and loved ones.
Pizza will be available or feel free to bring your own lunch.
