Filmmaker Larry Lansburgh: "David and Goliath in the Amazon"
(Lectures/Speakers)

Academy Award-nominated and Emmy-winning documentary filmmaker Larry Lansburgh presents "David and Goliath in the Amazon: How a Small Indigenous Group Triumphed Over Big Oil."

In this compelling presentation, Lansburgh will speak about an extraordinary group of Amazonian indigenous people, the Achuar, who are defending their pristine rain forest from oil companies with tactics that are sophisticated, ethical and effective. Lansburgh analyzes those tactics and provides evidence of how well they have worked.

"David & Goliath in the Amazon" is a success story of strong indigenous people who have practical wisdom to share with all of us.
