Shawn

Shawn Green is a Professor of Marketing and Vernon Haase Professor of Business and Economics at Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois. He also conducts sales and marketing research for corporate clients and academic conferences. Additionally, Shawn trains sales and marketing professionals in the area of sales and marketing strategy. In December of 1996, Shawn initiated the Aurora University Sales Institute. He currently serves as its director and organizes monthly sales development sessions for the greater Fox Valley business community. Topics for Speaking Engagements:

Brian Vander Schee
|
Before coming to Aurora University in 2007, Brian Vander Schee was an Assistant Professor of Business Management and Director of Freshman Seminar at the University of Pittsburgh - Bradford. His professional experience includes serving as the Vice President of Enrollment Management at two college. Currently his teaching responsibilities include Principles of Marketing as well as Integrated Marketing Communications, Consumer Behavior, and Marketing Research. He focuses on active learning in the classroom by making practical application of marketing theory and concepts. He is also the faculty advisor for the Student Marketing Association. Brian's research interests include marketing higher education, innovations in teaching marketing, and college student first-year experience. He has published in several academic journals and is a member of the editorial board for Recruitment and Retention in Higher Education. In 2005 he was selected for the Joan Throckmorton Award for Creative Excellence in Direct Marketing and in 2007 he received a Marketing Management Association Hormel Meritorious Teaching Award. His wife, Carolyn, is a professor at Northern Illinois University and they enjoy spending time together at the park or pool with their two young boys. |
