Purpose:
The purpose of the Dunham School of Business is to transform learners into developing professional leaders.

History:
The Dunham School of Business has progressively grown in size and scope. The program started with a few economics courses in the 1970s and quickly expanded to become the Department of Business Administration. In 1985, it became the School of Business and Professional Studies that also included non-business areas such as criminal justice, communications and computer science. In 1995, John Dunham, former owner and CEO of the Equipto Corporation began funding the "Dunham Scholars" program that includes full tuition scholarships, and student development activities. In 1999, the school was renamed the John and Judy Dunham School of Business and Professional Studies. In 2001, the non-business departments were spun off and the name became the Dunham School of Business.

Business curriculums were developed simultaneously with the growth of the college. In the 70s and 80s, the undergraduate programs grew in breadth and depth. In the late 80s and early 90s, the graduate degree of M.S. in Management evolved into the prestigious MBA degree.

The future will see the school continuously adapting to the business environment by proactively keeping current and by offering programs at locations and times that meet the needs of the current business professional.
