Dear Friends of AU Athletics,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for supporting
student-athletes in their athletic careers at Aurora University. AU has
long been known for possessing a rich tradition in intercollegiate athletics,
and we are pleased of your interest in our fine programs.
The Aurora University Spartan Club is our athletic booster organization.
We invite alumni, parents, staff and other friends of the intercollegiate
athletic program to join us in strengthening our programs, and extending
the opportunities for our student-athletes. I would like to introduce
to you a concept that will enable you to support the Spartan Club, and
direct your gift to a specific program(s). The minimum annual membership
gift is $60, although gifts in excess of that are greatly appreciated.
The first $30 of your gift is designated for the Spartan Club, which is
used for projects that benefit the entire athletic program. The remainder
of your gift can be directed toward the specific program(s) of your choice,
or the entire gift may be directed to the Spartan Club. Your support will
allow Aurora University Athletics to achieve new goals each year.
We hope to make you feel a part of something that is exciting and important
to the student-athletes who represent AU. Spartan Club members will receive
quarterly newsletters (see below) that recap the previous season and preview
the upcoming sports. Schedules for all pending events are included, as
well as four VIP tickets for free admission to all regular season home
athletic events. You will also receive information regarding other events,
such as our Hall of Fame Banquet and the Aurora University Golf Outing.
Please show your support for Aurora University athletics by joining the
AU Spartan Club. You can sign up online at www.aurora.edu/advancement/gift.htm,
or contact the Athletic Department at 630-844-5110 to request information
via mail.
Thanks for your help,
