- Become inspired by the experience of visiting Biblical sites and reflect on teachings to live with wholeness and integrity.
- Experience the spirituality of leadership in the practicum environment of the Jerusalem International YMCA; reflect on one's leadership gifts to build and hold trust in the communities within which one serves.
Parker Palmer’s text, "A Hidden Wholeness" is the primary reading in preparation for this trip. A copy of this book will be mailed to you after your final payment is received. Also included will be a pre-trip orientation.

Cost of Trip:
- Double occupancy: $4,042/person
- Single occupancy: $4,322/person
- Please Note: The total cost could change if the airport taxes or the fuel surcharges increase.
There is limited availability for this trip. To reserve your spot, a deposit of $600 must accompany the reservation form for each traveler. The deposit must be received by November 14, 2008.
Final payment is due to the Office of Alumni Relations by
Monday,
December 1, 2008, and is non-refundable. |
Price Includes:
- Round-trip economy class airfare from Newark, New Jersey to Tel Aviv, Israel
- Airport departure taxes in the U.S. and Israel; amount is subject to change and is based on the tax rates at the time of ticketing
- Ground transportation in Israel including airport transfers
- Accommodations - six nights at the Jerusalem YMCA and two nights at the YMCA Peniel-by-Galilee
- Meals and gratuities
- Educational tours which includes licensed tour guides and entrance fees, specially designed briefings, touring and all programming.

Every effort will be made to ensure the safety of each participant during this tour. Security issues are monitored constantly by the Jerusalem International YMCA and will be monitored by the YMCA during the tour.

| Activity Level |
Participants should expect to be moderately active throughout this excursion. Walking tours at a comfortable pace may range from two to four hours on a variety of terrain, including small hills and uneven surfaces. Good health is required.
