Elizabeth Parke Tucker

Distinguished Alumni Award

Elizabeth has devoted 40 years to the education community as an elementary teacher, guidance counselor and school psychologist. She has spearheaded successful career education workshops for high school students, led decisionmaking guidance courses for middle school students and supervised tutoring services for middle school and high school students. She has served on the boards of the Child and Adult Mental Health Association and the Junior League of Youngstown.

Ann is the Senior Vice President of Administration for Camp Fire USA First Texas Council. Her career with the organization includes service as a camp director; Assistant Executive Director of Outdoor Programs and Facilities; and Assistant Executive Director of Administration and Finance. Ann is currently President of the American Camp Association. She is also an active member of the Tau Beta Sigma National Board Honorary Society, an organization in which she has served as national
president and vice-president.


Rosemary Fischer Humbles

Rosemary's work with the Advent Christian Church is both varied and inspiring. Her background with Advent Christian Village includes starting the children's choir and a chancel choir. Currently, she is the Minister of Music and Christian Education at the Village Church and is a part of the pastoral team at Advent Christian Village. Rosemary oversees the Christian education program at the Village Church and continues to direct the choirs, including the hand bell choir and a youth ensemble.



Linnea Windel

George Peters Community Partnership Award

As President and CEO of the Visiting Nurse Association, Linnea has spearheaded many programs that benefit the Aurora community. She helped to establish the first Aurora-based federally qualified health center, which provides health care services to underinsured, uninsured and low income area residents. Linnea also led a similar and successful effort to establish the first school-based health center in Aurora. Earlier in her career, she developed a child abuse and neglect reduction program and the first Medicare-certified Hospice in Kane County.
