Coach Percy Snell (deceased)
The first coach at Aurora University and the pioneer
leader of Intercollegiate Athletics at AU. He coached
the football, basketball and baseball teams for more than
a decade. AU's baseball field is named in his memory. |

Dr. James Coleman (GWC) MS '75 (deceased)
Former USA Olympic Volleyball Coach and past General
Manager of the USA National Volleyball Teams. He recently
traveled around the world as an instructor for the Federation
of International Volleyball and organized the U.S. Women's
Professional Volleyball League headquartered in Chicago.
Jim was inducted into the U.S. Volleyball Hall of Fame in
1992. |
