Distinguished Alumni Award

The Distinguished Alumni Award is presented to graduates of Aurora College, George Williams College and Aurora University who embody an institution's commitment to integrity, citizenship, continuous learning and excellence. This award honors alumni who graduated more than 15 years ago. Priority is given to members of reunion classes.

Roger K. Parolini Lifetime Achievement

The Roger K. Parolini Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to individuals whose lives are testimony to the university's motto of character and scholarship and whose service to the university (or society) is selfless and exemplary. This award is granted to individuals who have made a significant and positive impact on the lives of several individuals or on the well-being of an educational, social service, religious institution or cause.

Spirit Award

This award recognizes individuals for unselfish contributions and steadfast loyalty to the Alumni Association and its constituents. The brass lantern presented with this award symbolizes the recipient's love of and devotion to the ideals and people of the institution and the nurturing of the Spartan spirit in all of us.

Athletic Hall of Fame

This award honors former athletes, coaches and friends. Recipients must have participated in at least two seasons and have graduated from AU/GWC. Candidates should have demonstrated success on the field of competition, as well as emulating the standards of Spartan athletics off the field since graduation. Individuals are eligible for consideration five years after graduation.

Athletic Lifetime Achievement Award

This award is presented to administrators, coaches, alumni and friends of AU/GWC athletic programs. This could include an outstanding athletic achievement outside AU/GWC; actively supporting AU/GWC athletics as a fan, Spartan Club member or board member; making a substantial contribution to intercollegiate athletics at AU/GWC; or a long-term coach who has achieved the respect of his or her athletes and peers and has displayed outstanding sportsmanship and taught lifetime values.
