Illinois Legislative Latino Caucus Foundation Scholarship
Amount: $2,000
Information: Eligible applicants must be enrolled as a full-time student during the fall term of 2009 or the spring term of 2010 at an accredited community college or four-year college or university; must have their home residence in Illinois; must be of Latino ancestry. Associated Colleges of Illinois (ACI) Scholarships
FOUR separate scholarship opportunities for Full-Time Undergraduate students.
McGraw Foundation Emergency Aid
Applicants must have experienced a personal emergency, be ineligible for other aid from any source, attempted to find part-time employment, received no other emergency aid, and be from a middle income family background. Award amounts: Varies.
McGraw Foundation Financial Assistance Program - Renewal
Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors with significant unmet need who plan to major in the Sciences. Only applicants who have received this award previously are eligible. Renewable for 4 years,contingent on maintaining a 3.0 average.
Award amount: $4,000.00.
Carole B. Whitecomb Endowed Scholarship
A $3,500.00 scholarship is available for a Junior or Senior with a career goal to work in the non-for-profit sector, demonstrated financial need, and have a 3.0 GPA.
College Success Network Scholarship
A $2,500.00 scholarship is available to minority students who are participants of an ACI College Success Network.

Soroptimist Women's Opportunity Awards
Information: These awards are not scholarships, rather cash awards to offset any cost associated with the recipient's efforts to attain higher education, including tuition, books, supplies, child care, or transportation costs. Eligible applicants must be women who: Provide the primary financial support for her family (including children, spouse, siblings and/or parents); are enrolled in or have been accepted to a vocational/skills training program or an undergraduate degree program; do not already have an undergraduate degree; demonstrate financial need; are residents of one of Soroptimist International of the Americas' member countries and territories. Top Ten List Scholarship
Amount: $1,000
Information: Applicants for this scholarship must be 13 years of age or older and a legal resident of the United States; be currently enrolled (or enroll no later than the fall of 2014) in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher education; complete an online scholarship search profile at ScholarshipExperts.com. The scholarships will be awarded to the students who best respond in 250 words or less to the following topic: "Create a 'top ten list' of the craziest or most unique scholarships you have heard of, and briefly describe each scholarship. 2010 Talbot's Women's Scholarship Fund
Amount: Only the first 5,000 eligible applications received will be processed. Up to ten (10) scholarships of $15,000 and one (1) $30,000 scholarship will be awarded.
Information: Applicants must be: Women currently residing in the United States or Canada; Be women who earned a high school diploma or their GED on or before September 2000; Be enrolled or planning to enroll in a full- or part-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school; Be attending the full 2010-11 academic year and receiving a degree no earlier than May 2011; Have at least two semesters (24 credit hours or more) remaining to complete an undergraduate degree as of the beginning of the 2010 fall academic term. Time Tracking Software Scholarship 2010
Amount: $500
Information: The scholarship is open to any currently enrolled student over the age of 18 living in the US or Canada and attending a state/provincially accredited college or university in the US or Canada. The TimeSheet Software Scholarship will award $500 USD towards tuition and/or education fees. Applicants should submit an essay in 1000 words or less, about how time tracking software can add value to organizations today.

The Elie Wiesel Prize in Ethics Essay Contest
Amount: $500 - $5,000
Information: The Elie Wiesel Prize in Ethics Essay Contest is an annual competition designed to challenge college students to analyze the urgent ethical issues confronting them in today's complex world. Students are encouraged to write thought-provoking personal essays that raise questions, single out issues and are rational arguments for ethical action. Suggested essay topics are viewable on the foundation's website. Full-time undergraduate juniors and seniors at accredited four-year colleges and universities in the US during the fall 2009 semester are welcome to enter the Essay Contest. Gates Millennium Scholar (GMS) program
Information: Students are eligible to be considered for a GMS scholarship if they: are African American, American Indian/Alaska Native. Asian Pacific Islander American, or Hispanic American; are a citizen/legal permanent resident or nationals of the US; have attained a cumulative high school GPA of 3.3 on an unweighted 4.0 scale; will be enrolling for the first time at a US accredited college or university as a full-time, degree-seeking, first year student in the fall 2010 or GED; have demonstrated leadership abilities through participation in community service, extracurricular, or other activities; be Pell eligible; have completed and submitted all 3 required forms by the deadline. Virginia Wagner Educational Grant
Information: The Soroptimist International Midwest Region is accepting applications for women seeking a baccalaureate, masters or doctoral degree.
