Jameel Gray has five years of correctional experience working for the Illinois Department of Corrections as a Correctional Case Manager at a community correctional center. His most recent position involves working for the federally funded "Project Safe Neighborhoods" as a coordinator.  Prior to these positions he was a graduate teaching assistant and youth care worker while attending graduate school. While a graduate student at the Center for the Study of Crime and Delinquency at Southern Illinois University, he conducted research examining correlations between procedural justice and legitimacy on inmate satisfaction and compliance.
