Internships are the proverbial win-win for both students and employers. Students are eager to not only learn what it takes to be a successful professional, but to begin making meaningful contributions to the workplace as well. Employers are able to effectively augment their staff and shape the future of young professionals. You play an important role as students begin to transition to professionals.

An internship is a pre-professional work experience related to a student's career goals. It is a finite time commitment that may be paid or unpaid, full-time or part-time with clearly identified projects or tasks to accomplish. Not all students are required by their major to complete an internship, but we do understand the value an internship has on the professional development of our students.

Did you know internship programs are a key recruiting tool? According to the National Association of Colleges and Employers, employers responding to a survey indicated that more than one-third of the new college graduates they hired came from their internship programs.
