With over a 100-year tradition of artistic excellence, the AU choral ensembles are dedicated to building on the legacy. The choirs provide a vibrant atmosphere for singers to improve skills, deepen their knowledge and apply those elements to the communication of and to humanity through sound. Many techniques are explored to share a wide variety of music with our loyal audiences. There is a place for singers who are just beginning as well as the advanced musician. MUS 1910 University Chorale

Open to musicians of all levels, the AU Chorale focuses primarily on vocal skills and the creation of a unified choral sound. Members experience a variety of choral music, ranging from renaissance to contemporary, with the mission of preparing quality choral literature for performance and education. MUS 1900 Women's Ensemble

A choir of talented women dedicated to developing their musicianship and vocal technique, the AU Women's Ensemble explores literature from all historical periods and seeks out a variety of performance venues. Active and engaged in the community, the Women's Ensemble performs challenging yet audience accessible music, and is often in demand for special campus events.

MUS 1930 Chamber Choir

Rehearsals: MWF 1:00-2:00pm

Open by audition only, the Chamber Choir is an ensemble for those craving a challenge. The group performs advanced literature from all periods, and strives for precise intonation, innovative interpretation, and vocal unity. Auditions are held during the first week of February, and by special arrangement in the fall. All Chamber Choir members must also be enrolled in either MUS 1910 University Chorale or MUS 1900 Women's Ensemble.

AU Men - Singing Spartans

Be a Singing Spartan! The AU Men's Ensemble is a volunteer group just for men. Performing popular men's music from pop-acappella, to Broadway, to contemporary, the AU Men serve as campus ambassadors at sporting and alumni events and other campus functions.
