I grew up in Costa Rica, lived in Israel for several years and have been a US resident since 1999. I served in the Israeli Air Force for two years and as a member of Americorps in Baltimore for a year. I have taught at middle schools, community education programs, and a number of American colleges and universities. I have many interests, academic and otherwise, but most of all I love teaching, and impressing upon my students the variety of experiences available to them if they only take the time to look.
