I have been a school social worker for the past ten years, focusing on students with emotional disabilities. I believe in hands on learning and my students, both elementary and college aged know of my love of role plays and teamwork. My previous experiences have included working with child sexual abuse victims, the Department of Children and Family Services, pregnant and parenting adolescents and geriatric social work. I have consulted with school districts on behavioral management strategies in Berwyn and River Forest, and on school safety measures for the DuPage County Sheriff and Southeast Alternative School.
