Jennifer Cones first taught for Aurora University in the fall of 2008.  She has been a forensic scientist with the DuPage County Forensic Science Center for approximately ten years specializing in the disciplines of latent print, firearms, and toolmark examination.  For the past three years she has also served as the Laboratory Quality Manager.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, with a Chemistry minor, from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and her Master of Arts degree in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration from Western Illinois University.  At the laboratory she is required to work very closely with all areas of the criminal justice system.  She enjoys combining her formal education with her working knowledge to educate students of all ages about the application of science to the law, especially with her students at Aurora University!

Spending time with my two very energetic toddlers; golfing with my husband; playing softball since I was seven up through college and currently on a competitive co-ed team in Bartlett - after all these years I still love it!
