After serving his country in the United States Marine Corps, James Mazurek proudly worked for the Penn Central Railroad, Village of Lombard, and the City of West Chicago Police Departments, retiring as a Deputy Chief. In 1983, he began teaching in the Criminal Justice Program at College of DuPage and joined the adjunct faculty staff at Aurora University in 2000. Jim assists our students in their career development and future goals through his expertise, aptitude, and intelligence by merging the academic and real world knowledge. Jim is available to answer student questions, be an educator, a role model, offer direction, and listen.
