I have also worked as a CPA for Arthur Andersen & Co. in Los Angeles and as a corporate attorney with a law firm in Chicago. I helped form a non-profit organization based in South Central Los Angeles and was involved in extensive research on the criminal justice system in California when I was working on my Ph.D. Currently my research interests involve the City of Aurora's After-School Program, Criminal Law, and White-Collar Crime.
