I believe in relating Earth Science to current topics, such as Global Warming and in showing students how Earth Science affects their lives. Learning about science is not about memorizing but about problem solving. I invite students to learn and then to think about what they have learned, thus expanding the classroom into the outside world. Seeing a student become excited about the world around them makes this job very rewarding.
