As a former student and current staff member in our athletic training department, I take a lot of pride in the Athletic Training Education Program at Aurora University. It is my goal each and every day to impress upon the athletic training students the value of hard work and the importance of a strong educational foundation. It is through these strengths that I foster and shape a rewarding clinical experience to prepare the students for a career in athletic training or related health care field. In the classroom my main focus is hands-on practice of clinical skills to increase student confidence and facilitate the implementation of these skills in their clinical rotations.
