I joined the faculty of Aurora University in Fall 2007, after four and a half years at the Index of Christian Art at Princeton University cataloguing medieval manuscripts from the Pierpont Morgan Library's collection. I continue to research medieval manuscripts, primarily from France and England. I believe a society's art has a great deal to tell us. Studying the history of art helps us to better understand and appreciate our own visual culture, past and present. Beyond being better and more knowledgeable thinkers, learning about the arts and humanities also makes your mind a more interesting place to live for the rest of your life.
