Whether you've already discovered your talent in the fine arts, or just suspect you have a vision yet to fulfill, there is a place for you in the art program at Aurora University. In the art major or minor program, you can gain knowledge of the arts, develop aesthetic appreciation and artistic sensitivity, and build skills to achieve a unique expression of your vision, through classroom and studio work.
In the art major, you may specialize in drawing, painting, photography, sculpture - and also experiment with other areas as well. You'll also get a solid grounding in art history, and choices in other areas of historical study, such as photography and Native American art.
Study in art may lead directly to a career in fine art, or serve as rich support to other fields or majors, such as museum studies, communication, marketing, history or English. Most importantly, you will develop a lifelong appreciation of art.
