I have been at Aurora University for the past four years. I was a school social worker for 31 years. I was the first elected president of the Midwest School Social Work Council. I was newsletter editor for Illinois Association of School Social Workers for 14 years. I was the interim chair of the School Social Work Association of America (SSWAA) and then served as the first president for 6 years. I then served as the first Executive Director of SSWAA for six years. I have given presentations across the United States and internationally in Korea, Sweden, Japan and Singapore.
