I transitioned from my role as a high school principal, a position in which I served 16 years. My school was recognized as a blue ribbon school. I began my career as a high school English teacher and coach before serving for many years as a junior high school principal, director of secondary education, assistant superintendent for instruction, and special assistant to the superintendent.
