At Aurora University, the School of Education offers programs in the areas of education, autism studies, parks and recreation leadership, as well as therapeutic recreation. Education majors are prepared for teaching and leadership positions in schools, while those who major in autism studies, parks and recreation leadership, and therapeutic recreation are prepared to work in a variety of settings, such as hospitals, nature centers, and recreation centers.
